13 Going On 30

Watching 13 Going On 30 tonight...I'm not and have never been a fan of romantic comedies but can someone explain to me why 30 party-goers dancing in synch to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson makes me get goosebumps all over? Disgusted with myself.
